We are pleased to announce the results of the Edward Flatau Prize competition, awarded for outstanding achievements in the fields of morphogenesis, morphology, anatomy, and molecular biology of the nervous system.
From the three nominations submitted, the Jury, composed of:
Prof. Janusz Moryś, Ph.D.; Prof. Elżbieta Pyza, Ph.D. (Chairperson); Prof. Dariusz Rakus, Ph.D.; and Prof. Andrzej Szutowicz have decided
to award the 2025 Edward Flatau Prize to Dr. Piotr Majka (Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, PAS, Warsaw, Poland)
for his significant contributions to neuroanatomy and for developing the first corticocortical connectome of a primate brain, the common marmoset monkey (Callithrix jacchus).
